Acrisure Amphitheater will be hosting a medical scrub donation drive ahead of their
TLC and Salt-N-Pepa: It’s Iconic Tour also featuring En Vogue to benefit the
West Michigan Center for Arts + Technology.
A play on TLC’s song titled “No Scrubs,” the donations will be collected from August 17 to August 31 at the West Michigan Center for Arts + Technology. This will be Acrisure Amphitheater’s first donation drive of their inaugural season.
Fans are encouraged to bring new and gently used scrubs to donate and will have the chance to enter to win tickets after making their donation. The tickets will be in Section 102 and paired with a concessions food & beverage gift card. The winner will be selected on September 1 at 10AM. There will also be a donation box at Acrisure Amphitheater on the day of the concert, September 3, for patrons who already have tickets but still want to donate.
WMCAT is located on the third floor of 614 First St NW, around the corner from the Bridge Street Market and across the street from Rockford Construction. The main building lobby on First Street offers an elevator to the third floor. Donations can be dropped off Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm.
Scrub donations will benefit WMCAT’s Pharmacy Technician students. The Adult Career Training Program at WMCAT provides Kent County adults experiencing under- or unemployment a pathway to income stability through tuition-free training in Cybersecurity and Pharmacy Technician.
Professionally led instruction, leadership development curriculum, hands-on experience with employers and holistic supports prepare students to take certification exams and enter their new career fields. The Pharmacy Technician Pathway first launched in 2008 and has been supported by many community partners, notably Meijer and Corewell Health.
