At Acrisure Amphitheater, events are held rain or shine. Our top priority is the safety of our guests, artists, and staff. Our team, along with Legends Global, Live Nation, and the City of Grand Rapids, continuously monitors weather conditions before and during all events.


HEAT INDEX
- High heat and humidity can create dangerous conditions. Please plan accordingly.
- Temperatures of 125+ may result in a show delay or postponement.

HIGH WIND ADVISORY
- Activated when wind gusts of 58 mph or greater are expected.
- Show will be immediately paused. Show will resume when AccuWeather/Emergency services claim conditions are stable.

LIGHTNING
- Activated when lightning or thunder is detected within specific distance of venue.
- Show will be immediately paused. There will be a 30 minute delay from the last lightning strike, show will resume when AccuWeather/Emergency services claim conditions are stable.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
- Expecting gusts of wind of 58 mph or greater, hail of 1 inch in diameter or larger and/or dangerous lightning.
- Show will be immediately paused. Show will resume when AccuWeather/Emergency services claim conditions are stable.

TORNADO
- Activated when a Tornado Warning is issued within 5 miles of the facility.
- A Tornado Warning requires immediate sheltering inside a structurally sound building, away from windows, preferably on the lowest level. We will follow all instructions from the NWS, AccuWeather, Grand Rapids OEM, and emergency responders. Patrons will be immediately evacuated to designated shelter.

Please note the safety of our guests and staff are the highest priority. Decisions will be made with this in mind and communicated clearly and quickly through the event webpage, Acrisure Amphitheater social media and on site through digital screens and loud speakers. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the closest exit in case of an emergency.
