Animals
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited with the exception of trained service animals for guests with disabilities and/or special needs.
Bag Policy
Acrisure Amphitheater has a No Bag policy, permitting no bags, backpacks or purses, other than those required for medical or parenting needs, into the venue. Small clutches no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" x 2" will be permitted. Bags in the medical/essential category will be screened by security personnel. Guests with parenting/medical bags will undergo additional security screening.
Blankets
Small blankets will be permitted into the venue. Security has the right to deny entry for blankets that do not meet the appropriate size, or have inappropriate language or content
Cameras / Photography
Camera policy varies based on the event. Contact Acrisure Amphitheater for event specific information.
Basic policy (subject to changed based on each artist's restrictions): No professional or flash photography of any kind is permitted. Camcorders or any other audio/visual equipment are prohibited unless authorized by promoter or performer. Drones are not permitted.
Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted: Telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind, interchangeable lenses of any kind, monopods, tripods, iPads or selfie sticks, flash equipment of any kind, audio-video recording
Cashless
Acrisure Amphitheater will be a cashless venue. Cash will not be accepted at the concessions stands or box office. We accept: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay)
Child Admission
For most events, children under the age of 2 will be admitted into Acrisure Amphitheater without a ticket provided that they sit on an adult's lap and do not occupy a seat. Any child 2 years of age or older will require a ticket to enter the Amphitheater. Please note that some shows will have a different age policy. If you are uncertain about the policy, feel free to contact us.
Dress Code
All guests in attendance are required to wear a shirt and shoes at all times for their own safety. Acrisure Amphitheater management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and / or images.
Emergencies / Evacuations
Acrisure Amphitheater works on a continuing basis with the Grand Rapids Fire Department, the Grand Rapids Police Department, and other agencies in the development of specific Emergency Procedures Plans.
Acrisure Amphitheater recognizes that its goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable atmosphere. The use of installed automated security systems, appropriate security operating plans, and trained guest services and security personnel will ensure the security and safety of all guests, performers, and employees at Acrisure Amphitheater.
In the case of an emergency, guests must comply with requests from venue staff regarding operations and emergency response procedures.
When attending an event be sure to locate the nearest exit to you in the event of an emergency.
Entry / Exit
The time the doors to Acrisure Amphitheater open will vary according to the event. Typically doors will open 90 minutes prior to the event time noted on your ticket (all door times are subject to change). For most shows the Riverside Entrance will open 10-15 minutes prior to the Market Ave Entrance. Guests with lawn chairs must enter through the Riverside Entrance.
Queue lines and areas leading up to the points of entry will be marked and monitored for ease of entry.
There is a no re-entry policy for events at Acrisure Amphitheater.
Entry Inspections
All guests entering the Amphitheater during an event day are subject to a metal-detector screening and visual inspection conducted by Acrisure Amphitheater security personnel. The purpose of the inspection is to detect prohibited items. Do NOT remove items from your pockets. Do NOT remove your jacket. Do NOT bring in any prohibited items; for a list of what is prohibited see below.
Working personnel, including employees, contractors, volunteers and visitors, are required to go through an enhanced security screening process including passing through metal detectors.
Food & Beverage
Concession stands will accept credit/debit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal payments only. Please note you will need a valid government issued photo ID to pay with a credit or debit card.
Outside food & beverages will not be permitted inside the Amphitheater. Factory sealed water bottles 20 oz or less will be permitted; one per person.
Items avoiding gluten will be available at all food & beverage locations.
Guest Services
Guest Services will be located on the Market Ave side of the venue near the main merchandise stand. Look for the blue tent.
Guest Services is designed to provide information to guests with questions, concerns, or issues during Acrisure Amphitheater events. In addition, Guest Services will provide assistance to guests with ADA requests. Should you have a question, comment or concern before or after an event, please contact our Guest Services tent or any staff member.
Hearing Assistance Devices
Complimentary hearing assistance devices are available at the Guest Services Tent located on the Market Ave side of the venue near the main merchandise stand. Look for the blue tent.
A limited number of LISTEN Technologies devices will be available and offer an improved listening experience for guests, including integration with T-coil-equipped hearing aids. Available at Guest Services with a valid form of identification.
Lawn Chairs
Collapsible or beach chairs that do not exceed 12" from the ground to the bottom of the seat when unfolded will be permitted. Note: chairs may not be permitted at select events. The policy will be listed on the event page if not permitted.
Guests with chairs will be required to use designated entry lines. Guests should anticipate longer entry times through the designated chair entry lines.
Guests with lawn chairs must enter through the Riverside Entrance.
Parking
Parking facilities in downtown Grand Rapids are operated by the City of Grand Rapids. Metered parking is also available on the streets surrounding the venue. Visit the City of Grand Rapids website or call their office at 616-456-3000 for more information about parking.
Limited ADA parking will be available at the parking garage on site on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accessible parking is available in all City owned and operated parking ramps and surface parking lots. Each lot has accessible designated spaces, including van-accessible spaces, for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. Accessible spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so please plan accordingly.

Ponchos
Both individual and pouch ponchos will be permitted into the venue.
Prohibited Items
The following is a partial list of items that are prohibited at all Acrisure Amphitheater events.
Bags (Small clutches no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" x 2" and bags for medical & parenting needs will be permitted)
Cameras: flash/professional photography; some events will prohibit the use of all cameras
Lawn chairs / collapsible seats that are larger than 12" from ground to bottom of seat.
Outside Food and Beverage
Recording Devices
Selfie Sticks, Tripods/Monopods
Umbrellas & Strollers.
Laser Pointers, Alcohol, Illegal Drugs, Noise Making Devices, Fireworks, Flashlights, Skateboards, Rollerblades, Beach Balls, Cans or Bottles.
Any item that could pose a safety hazard or restrict the enjoyment of another guest
In the event that prohibited items are revealed during a search, the guest will be permitted to return the item to their vehicle, or the item will be confiscated or disposed of properly. Acrisure Amphitheater will not check-in or safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.
Rideshare
Meters on the Fulton Street bridge will be hooded and designated for rideshare and taxi drop off and pick up locations.
Road Closures
Please note that Market Ave will be closed between Cherry St and Bartlett St for every event day. The Market off ramp of US 131 S will be closed for every event day. Closures will start approximately 2 hours before doors for events.
Smoking / Non-Smoking Environment
Smoking is not permitted in the Amphitheater at any time. This includes e-cigarettes/vaping. The AMP does not offer a designated smoking area outside of the venue during events. As re-entry is not permitted, patrons who exit the Amphitheater for any reason, including to smoke, will not be allowed to re-enter the facility.
Tickets
Please see the Ticketing Information page for information on purchasing tickets. Patrons are encouraged to purchase their tickets online to avoid queues and gatherings at the box office. Mobile tickets are preferred, be sure to have your ticket barcodes pulled up on your mobile device upon approaching the ticket scanner when attending an event. Screenshots of mobile tickets will not be accepted. Be sure to have your whole group together. After passing through the ticket point keep your tickets visible on your phone so an usher may assist you with finding your seat.
Canopy coverage ends at row H of the 200 level. Please note tickets under the canopy are not guaranteed to be protected from the elements.
Water Bottles
Factory sealed bottled water 20 oz or under will be permitted into the venue. One per person.
32 oz or smaller empty refillable plastic water bottles will be permitted, one per person.
Two water fountains & refillable water stations will be available within the venue.
Weapons Prohibited
Weapons include, but are not limited to, the following: firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas, knives, etc. Guests found in possession of the above-mentioned items will be asked to remove the item from the venue or dispose of it. Guests who refuse to comply will be ejected from the venue and may be subject to arrest.
Wheelchairs
Complimentary wheelchair escorts will be provided upon request at every entry point, based on availability. Please be aware that our staff will not remain with you during an event, nor will they allow you to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event.
